Integration guide
Set up AdFrolic in GitHub Copilot
AdFrolic support for Copilot workflows is planned. We will only ship it where the host provides a stable, appropriate surface for sponsored content.
Before you start
You need an AdFrolic developer account. If you do not have one yet, create an account first. You do not need to create an advertising campaign.
1. Install AdFrolic
Use the command below when the GitHub Copilot integration is available. Copy it exactly as shown.
# Planned universal installer
install-adfrolic-ads2. Connect your AdFrolic account
- 1Wait until this page is marked Available.
- 2Run the AdFrolic installer.
- 3Select the supported Copilot host if required.
- 4Connect your AdFrolic developer account.
- 5Confirm the supported placement inside the host application.
3. Check it works
Open GitHub Copilot and make sure the AdFrolic surface appears without an error. If no advert is available, the surface may stay empty. That is normal.
Where ads appear
No production Copilot placement has been confirmed yet. The integration will not insert adverts into generated code, chat responses or prompt text.
AdFrolic only uses surfaces that the host application supports. We do not inject adverts over your code, prompts or editor content.
What AdFrolic does not read
Not sent to AdFrolic
Source code, open files, prompt text, AI responses, clipboard contents and terminal output.
Used for the integration
Your AdFrolic session, installation ID, supported placement, client version and limited technical context needed to serve and measure an advert.
