Integration guide

Set up AdFrolic in OpenCode

OpenCode is planned as a terminal-first integration using lightweight sponsored output around supported host UI rather than changing prompts or model responses.

Before you start

You need an AdFrolic developer account. If you do not have one yet, create an account first. You do not need to create an advertising campaign.

Planned. These instructions show the intended setup and are being prepared ahead of public release. Do not expect the install command or marketplace listing to work until this page is marked Available.

1. Install AdFrolic

Use the command below when the OpenCode integration is available. Copy it exactly as shown.

Terminal
# Planned universal installer
install-adfrolic-ads

2. Connect your AdFrolic account

  1. 1Wait until this guide is marked Available.
  2. 2Run the universal installer from your terminal.
  3. 3Select OpenCode if it is not detected automatically.
  4. 4Sign in to AdFrolic using the browser device flow.
  5. 5Return to OpenCode and verify the sponsored surface.

3. Check it works

Open OpenCode and make sure the AdFrolic surface appears without an error. If no advert is available, the surface may stay empty. That is normal.

Where ads appear

The intended integration will use a host-supported status or reserved terminal UI surface. Exact placement behaviour is still to be confirmed.

AdFrolic only uses surfaces that the host application supports. We do not inject adverts over your code, prompts or editor content.

What AdFrolic does not read

Not sent to AdFrolic

Source code, open files, prompt text, AI responses, clipboard contents and terminal output.

Used for the integration

Your AdFrolic session, installation ID, supported placement, client version and limited technical context needed to serve and measure an advert.

Troubleshooting

There is no public OpenCode package from AdFrolic yet.
Terminal output from your work is not part of the advertising request.
If the AdFrolic service is unavailable, the integration should fail quietly and leave OpenCode usable.
